WHAT IS THE CONTEST?

The Progresso® Souper You® Contest (“Contest”) invites people to share why they love Progresso® soups and why they deserve a fashion makeover.

WHAT CAN I WIN?

Grand Prize
Three (3) of the ten (10) selected Finalists will be selected as Grand Prize Winners. Each Grand Prize winner will be awarded a trip for two (2) to Los Angeles. The trip includes roundtrip airfare for two from major airport nearest winner’s home to Los Angeles, CA, one double occupancy hotel room for three nights, car service to all events, $1000 cash card and $1000 fashion retailer gift card. In addition, the winner will receive a full fashion makeover including; hair, makeup, nails, and consultation for clothing purchases using the retailer gift card. Winner will also receive two tickets for admission to NBC's The Biggest Loser season 13 live season finale episode (“Finale”) filming (“Tickets”). Fashion retailer gift card must be used to purchase clothing that will be worn to the live filming of The Biggest Loser season finale episode. Cash and gift cards are subject to separate terms and conditions from card providers. Ground transportation for personal excursions, meals, gratuities and other incidental expenses are not included. Approximate value of each Grand Prize is $10,000.

Finalist Prizes
Seven (7) Selected Finalists will each be awarded a $100 cash card. Cash card is subject to separate terms and conditions from cash card provider. Approximate value of each Finalist prize is $100.

All Contest prizes are not transferable, except at the sole discretion of General Mills. Each Finalist is eligible to win only one prize. All taxes and other expenses, if any, are the sole responsibility of the winners. Grand Prize winners’ travel must be completed between April 29 and June 13, 2012. Travel dates are subject to change, based on The Biggest Loser season 13 production and filming schedule. Approximate value of Tickets is zero dollars ($0). Date and/or time of Finale are subject to change and/or cancellation. In the event Finale does not or cannot take place as scheduled or at all, for any reason, then the remaining components of the Grand Prize shall constitute full satisfaction of General Mills’ Grand Prize obligation to the Grand Prize Winners, and no other or additional compensation will be awarded. Tickets are subject to certain terms and conditions as specified thereon and by issuer. Location of seating (if any) shall be subject to availability. If winner cannot travel during specified dates, prize will be forfeited and an alternate Grand Prize winner will be selected from the remaining Finalists. This Contest is void where prohibited or otherwise regulated. All federal, state and local laws apply.

You are eligible if you are 21 years of age or older as of November 21, 2011, and are a legal United States resident residing in one of the 50 United States or District of Columbia during the competition.

HOW DO I ENTER?

In 300 characters or less, submit a short essay and photo of yourself telling us why you love Progresso Soup and why you deserve a fashion makeover.

Online entry only. Go to www.SouperYou.com and submit your entry by following the instructions included on the contest tab. Submit your essay (300 characters or less) sharing your opinions about Progresso Soups and why you deserve a fashion makeover, using the online entry form and filling in all requested information completely. In addition, submit a photo of yourself (in one of the following formats: jpg, .gif, or .png) that visually reinforces the theme of your essay. Only complete entries containing both essay and photo will be eligible. By completing the registration and submitting your photo, you agree that your entry conforms to the Photo Guidelines and Content Restrictions as defined below (collectively, the “Guidelines and Restrictions”) and that General Mills, in its sole discretion, may decide not to post or may remove your photo and disqualify you from the Contest if it believes, in its sole discretion, that your photo or essay fails to conform to the Guidelines and Restrictions. All electronic entries must be received between 12:00 a.m. on November 21, 2011 and 11:59 p.m. on February 22, 2012 (central time). Each electronic entry should be submitted only once. Use of automated processes and devices to submit electronic entries are not permitted. General Mills is not responsible for any changes or effects caused to the entrant's computer system as a result of submitting electronic entries. Limit one entry per person.

Guidelines and Restrictions:

Only entries submitted via the website electronic form will be accepted. Entries submitted via any other method, including but not limited to U.S. Postal Service, facsimile or other express delivery services will NOT be accepted. General Mills and their promotion agencies are not responsible for lost, late, misdirected or otherwise undeliverable mail, or entries that cannot be processed due to phone, network, electronic or computer hardware or software failure, or technical failures of any kind, whether caused by General Mills, entrants or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the promotion or by any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of submissions which may damage a user’s system or limit a participant’s ability to participate in the promotion. General Mills reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual that tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Contest or website or violates the Official Rules. In the case of duplicate recipes, the first entry received will be judged. By submitting your entry, you accept all Contest rules and agree to be bound by the decisions of the judges, which will be final. You also agree that your entry becomes the sole property of General Mills and General Mills reserves the right to edit, adapt, copyright, publish, transfer and use it, in any and all media without compensation. General Mills reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest should virus, bugs, non-authorized human intervention, fraud or other causes beyond its control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or proper conduct of the Contest. In such case, General Mills will select the winner from all eligible entries received prior to and/or after (if appropriate) the action taken by General Mills.

CAUTION -- ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE THE WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE CONTEST MAY BE IN VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS. SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, GENERAL MILLS RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK REMEDIES AND DAMAGES (INCLUDING ATTORNEY’S FEES) FROM ANY SUCH ENTRANT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW, INCLUDING CRIMINAL PROSECUTION.

HOW WILL ENTRIES BE JUDGED?

All entries must meet the Contest requirements. Entries must be created by the entrant. Initial judging of the essay and photo submissions will be conducted by an independent judging organization based on the following criteria:

Ten Finalist entries will be selected from all eligible entries received in early March, 2012. Consumers will be invited to go online at www.SouperYou.com from March 12, 2012 at 12:00am, through March 25, 2012 at 11:59pm to view the ten Finalist essays and photos and vote for the Finalist they feel best meets Contest judging criteria of creativity, incorporation of Progresso Soup brand, creativity, humor, and inspiration. The three (3) Finalists receiving the most consumer votes will each receive a Grand Prize.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I WIN?

If you are one of the ten (10) selected Finalists you will be notified on or about March 1, 2012 via e-mail. Grand Prize winners will be notified on or about April 5, 2012. Finalists will be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility and a liability release/assignment of rights and return within forty eight (48) hours of receipt of notification. Any Finalist who does not comply with this requirement, cannot be easily located at the e-mail address provided may forfeit prize and an alternate Finalist may be selected. Except where prohibited by law, each Finalist will be required to sign a release giving General Mills and its nominees full rights to use the Finalist's name, likeness, image and voice for Contest related advertising and publicity, including such usage on the Internet. Grand Prize winners and their travel companions will be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility, assignment of rights and a liability and promotional release and return it within seventy two (72) hours of notification. After accepting prize, the Grand Prize winners will not be eligible to win another Grand Prize in the three subsequent Progresso Souper You contests. General Mills reserves the right to cancel this promotion at its sole discretion. Winners will be posted on the Internet at www.SouperYou.com following the competition.
